The Goddess Inheritance by Aimee Carter

Kay's Review:

NOTE: REVIEW IS FULL OF SPOILERS!!!
The Goddess Inheritance by Aimee Carter is the final book in the series the Goddess Test
From the last book we found that Kate was pregnant and was kidnapped by Calliope, all thanks to Ava, this book begins where the second book was left off, and we were able to find out that Walter knew all about Kate's imprisonment, and didn't tell Henry! I was like... 'What?! Are you serious?" oh and later in the book it turns out Kate is also HIS DAUGHTER!
When Henry finds out that Kate is kidnapped, of course he goes saves the love of his life, and Calliope stabs him with a dagger that is forged to kill the "gods and goddesses". The Kate was able to get saved, but her son (yes she has a son named Milo) gets left behind! How the heck does that happen?? Ok, then turns out Chronus (he was released from his imprisonment in Tartarus in the last book) has this creepy infatuation for Kate. A whole lot of creepy things happen between him and Kate, and in the end it turns out to save Henry, who is teetering on the brink of death, is to find a Titan to save him. Titan #1:Chronus, obviously not a choice. Titan#2: Rhea, the only Titan who wasn't imprisoned, was the only choice.
We FINALLY meet Rhea and it turns out that she won't fight against her evil husband (GUYS COME ON, it makes sense why she refuses to hurt her husband, but he's trying to KILL THEIR KIDS! I thought mothers would rather protect their kids first...) But it turns out she is willing to take care and save Henry from  his dagger's wound.
Then Henry does his magicky transport thing, and pops up out of no where, a bunch oh I miss you and love you stuff happen, and off they go to figure out a way to save their son. All while Chronus is slowly wiping out  the world with tsunamis.
OK, you have to read the rest.. only if you want to, but to sum it up:
- Henry decides to go undercover (by pretending to love Calliope, because she has this creepy stalker love thing going for him)
-Kate finds a way to save him with all his past lovers, and failed testers
-Persephone makes a cameo
-Some people die
-Chronus is captured
-Secrets come out
-Everyone is (almost) happy
-Milo, Kate and Henry becomes one big happy family.

Oh, not to mention, at the end of the book, it turns out there will be another series, where someone else goes through another set of tests to become a goddess, to replace the one who died (yes it's a goddess).

Final Opinion:
The first book the Goddess Test was mesmerizing and amazing which led me to become very excited for the Goddess Interrupted which turned out pretty good too. However, The Goddess Inheritance was very anticipated, and when I got it, I literally squealed in excitement, and it turns out to be a huge disappointment. I expected more action, less talking, and more romance ( I get there is a war going on... but still!) Basically after so much excitement  JUST WAITING for the book, it was very slow and I hate to say it, pretty boring.
Not to mention there may (most likely) be another series that is similar, set in the future (omg a dystopia-caste style one) I'm not exactly excited for it due to the let down of this one. I guess time will tell!

Rating:
5/10 stars
(cause there was a bit of a happy ending)
