Easy to Love You by Megan Smith

The second book in the Love series.

Excerpt:
After we’d completely exhausted each other, we lay there wrapped together, utterly spent. . While we were enjoying the sounds of our breathing, our heartbeats, CC asked, “Why do you love me?”

I gazed into her beautiful eyes and said the only thing that made sense, “Because it’s so easy to love you.” (P. idk)

**Before reading this book, you should read Trying Not to Love You the first book in this series.
** May contain spoilers from Trying Not to Love You

After the crazy cliffhanger in the first book, Easy to Love You picks up exactly where the last book have you shocked. CC and Hunter, now has a baby... and the whole story gets even more crazy from there. Turns out there is more to the story about Brittney, someone in Hunter's past shows up, secrets in CC's past comes to light, and much more drama happens along the way!

Trying Not to Love You left me sitting there in shock, disbelief and wondering WHERE THE HECK IS THE REST OF THE STORY!? Now after so long, the second book is finally out... and this left me in a mini cliff hanger... just not CRAZY and going NO WAY like the last one, but just enough to give you a tease that there is a third book.( Ooooh, I hate chasing after series... there is this love/ hate relationship between them and me. ) One thing I hate to say is that the second book just barely lived up to the first book. At first it started out ok, but this time the author made it more dramatic and secretive, probably to build suspense, while the last book is focused more on CC's and Hunter's relationship, which I would prefer to read more of, especially now they have their kid. However the whole this is one problem after another, in my opinion a lot of the cute romantic stuff is missed in this story, and too much drama, arguments and weird things go on. I think that while the author is trying to make everyone go into disbelief, I think that she succeeded in more getting annoyance out of me. The drama about Hunter's past and family? No freaking way. About CC's dad? Are YOU KIDDING ME? The first book was way more realistic and definitely seemed more real, and this one was based on THIS cannot all happen in real life. This is fiction, through and through now. Even though this whole thing is suppose the be fiction, I think that the first book had its touch more in reality... also I think that the story stopped at a good length (even though it was at a cliffhanger) and it was much more detailed. Easy to Love You consisted of more summaries and tying lose ends as well as started up another batch of problems. OH! AND THE BOOK IS BASED IN DIFFERENT POINT OF VIEWS! But I think the author botched it up, the feeling and personality between each view were very similar, sometimes I forget who I'm reading as. When you write as a different view, the characters actions and thinking are all suppose to be different, but in this book I feel like every single character are the same person. For those who read my other reviews, I love reading the guy's reviews, but this time I think I was reading the mindset of the girl. A guy does not think like that... at least I highly doubt it. (sorry, I'm not sure... it just seems unreal).

Things I want more of in this book:
-details
-the romance between CC and Hunter
-more details about the other characters that the last book had more of
-a more realistic feel
-a little less drama (I feel overwhelmed)
-please stick to one point of view, or improve on writing as a different character

Overall, I think this book has lost its relation with its writing style in the last book. I feel a bit disappointed, but all in all it was a pretty good story, especially if you like drama. I would go read the next book that is for sure! I love the characters and some of the things they get into, also I have this closure problem, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS !
