The Summer I Found You by Jolene Perry

Jolene Perry's THE SUMMER I FOUND YOU, about a teenage girl trying to cope with her new diagnosis of type one diabetes and a teenage male veteran who is learning how to embrace his new life after losing an arm, who come together by using each other as an escape, only to discover through love and struggle that your life is what you make of it.

**Thank you NetGalley for the ARC! :)

The story is about a girl name Kate and a guy name Aiden. Both with hidden problems that they recenty acquired and both who are trying to learn to deal with it. First off, I would like to say that this book does have a HEP and looks like to be a standing novel. (I hate it when a book has a cliffhanger; this one doesn't!) As Kate tries to learn to live life with her newfound friend, diabetes, and Aiden trying to live life without is arm they are someone compelled to each other. (I personally think it's because they have something to relate to).

I think that this book is like perfect for a relaxing read. Nothing to stressful or serious but there were a few parts that almost made me cry... ALMOST ... (the part where it showed that AIDEN REALLY CARED!)

It's pretty interesting and something I can relate to... their relationship anyhow lol, but I think Perry did a really good job on such a sweet story. Nothing I can gush much about or complain about.

RATING: 6.5/10

HAPPY READING !
